HARRY POTTER AND THE LEGACY OF THE PHOENIX

In Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Harry can suddenly see Thestrals because he watched Cedric Diggory die. Despite witnessing his mom’s death and seeing Professor Quirrell turn to dust, the ability only unlocks after Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire decides it counts.

Hogwarts Legacy is now free to claim on the Epic Games Store for a limited time, giving PC players a rare chance to grab one of the biggest RPGs at zero cost. If you claim it before May 3, the game stays in your library forever.
Set in the Wizarding World long before Harry Potter, the game lets you explore Hogwarts, learn spells, tame magical beasts, and shape your own story. It’s one of the most detailed open-world fantasy games released in recent years.

After Harry sees the memory of Igor Karkarov’s trial, he asks Dumbledore what happened to Barty Crouch’s son. Dumbledore states plainly that he went to Askaban and probably died. Harry then tells him he had multiple dreams about Barty Crouch Jr involving Voldemort, and Dumbledore basically says “don’t worry about it” ?! Tells Harry not to pay attention to these dreams and to “cast them away”. My question is why would he say that? I know that it wasn’t until Order of the Phoenix where Dumbledore realized the mental connection between Harry and Voldemort and took care to prevent info from getting leaked (as well as trying to teach Harry occlumency)… But in goblet of fire why would he tell Harry to brush off the dreams?? Surely he must have known they were really important. He just got done saying how he is frustrated that just when he’s figuring out what’s going on that it “slips away”. He had that memory of Karkarov’s trial ready to go in the Pansieve so he must have been revisiting it again for some reason. Then Harry tells him that and he acted like it was irrelevant.
