Israeli Synagogue ERUPTS Amid Iran’s ‘WILDEST’ Strike On Israeli Soil?

A terrifying night shook Israel as a suspected Iranian missile strike slammed into a residential area in Beit Shemesh, near Jerusalem, destroying a synagogue and causing severe casualties. The massive blast not only demolished the religious building but also penetrated a public bomb shelter beneath it, leaving multiple people dead and dozens injured.
According to early reports, the ballistic missile struck the area in the early hours of the morning, at a time when many families had taken refuge in the shelter under the synagogue. The direct hit triggered a powerful explosion that shook the entire neighborhood, in what officials describe as one of the deadliest strikes on Israeli soil during the current escalation. At least nine people were reportedly killed, including three teenage siblings, after parts of the synagogue and the underground shelter collapsed.
What has made the incident even more shocking is that Israel’s renowned missile defense systems apparently failed to intercept the incoming projectile. Some Israeli officials confirmed that the missile was not stopped by the Arrow missile defense system, and the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have launched an investigation to determine why the early-warning and interception systems were unable to respond in time.
The strike comes as tensions between Israel and Iran continue to escalate rapidly following a series of military exchanges across the region. In recent years, the two countries have engaged in missile attacks, airstrikes, and covert operations against one another, raising fears that the conflict could spiral into a wider regional war.
Israeli rescue teams worked for hours through the rubble searching for survivors, while security forces sealed off the area amid concerns about possible follow-up attacks. Witnesses described scenes of chaos: shattered windows, ambulance sirens echoing through the streets, and desperate families searching for missing loved ones.
