Hezbollah Targets Israeli Bases and Cities After Israeli Strikes

Tensions along Israel’s northern front have sharply escalated after Hezbollah launched a new wave of rocket and drone attacks, targeting several locations across northern Israel.
According to regional reports, rockets and attack drones were launched toward multiple cities, including Haifa, Nahariya, and Kiryat Shmona. Air-raid sirens sounded across the region as civilians rushed into shelters while Israel’s air-defense systems attempted to intercept incoming projectiles.
Officials say dozens of heavy rockets were fired, with several reportedly striking urban areas and causing damage to buildings and infrastructure. Military installations were also among the targets, including an Iron Dome radar facility in Kiryat Eliezer and the Tel Hashomer Base, a key Israeli military installation.
In addition to rocket fire, attack drones reportedly struck strategic industrial and military facilities. Among the sites hit were facilities linked to Elta Systems, which produces advanced radar and surveillance technology, as well as parts of the Haifa Oil Refinery, a critical energy facility in northern Israel.
Clashes also erupted near the Israel–Lebanon border, where Israeli forces and Hezbollah fighters exchanged fire. Israeli military sources reported that two Israeli soldiers were wounded during the confrontation.
Security analysts describe the assault as one of Hezbollah’s most aggressive attacks in recent weeks, raising fears that the fighting along Israel’s northern border could intensify further and potentially open a second major front in the widening regional conflict.
