Israel’s military says it has completed one of the heaviest air campaigns in its history, dropping more than 5,000 bombs on Iranian targets in just a few days, as Tehran claims at least 1,230 people have been killed and warns the worst may still be ahead.
According to IDF briefings, waves of F‑35s, F‑15s and armed drones struck “hundreds of high‑value sites” across Iran – from missile depots and drone hubs to air‑defence batteries and Revolutionary Guard command centres. Satellite images show scorched airfields, collapsed bunkers and entire industrial blocks turned into smoking craters.
