U.S. President Donald Trump announced that the United States and its allies have launched a large-scale military campaign called “Operation Fierce Fury” targeting Iran.
According to the White House and U.S. military officials, the operation involves coordinated airstrikes designed to cripple Iran’s military capabilities and prevent future attacks against American forces and partners in the Middle East.
Officials from the U.S. military’s United States Central Command described the campaign as “the most dangerous, sophisticated, and precise airstrike operation in history.”
