Nearly three decades after the original outbreak, Jim (Cillian Murphy) drifts ashore in Portugal, carrying the scars of a world that never truly healed. What he finds is worse than memory: Lisbon is already collapsing, overrun by a faster, more coordinated generation of the Infected.

Jim is pulled from the chaos by Mateo (Cristiano Ronaldo), a driven and magnetic survivor who leads a fortified sanctuary inside an abandoned football stadium. Through brutal experience, Mateo has discovered a crucial truth: the Infected possess explosive straight-line speed — but no agility. Survival, he believes, isn’t about hiding… it’s about movement.
