AQUAMAN 3 (2026)

Aquaman 3 (2026) is a concept continuation of the underwater DC universe saga, expanding the story of Atlantis into a more political, mythological, and war-driven direction after the events of the previous films.

At the center of the story is Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry (Aquaman), who now faces a far more complex role as both King of Atlantis and protector of the surface world. Instead of being just a warrior-hero, he is now forced into leadership decisions that affect entire civilizations above and below the ocean.

The story concept usually begins with a fragile peace between Atlantis and the surface world. However, this balance begins to collapse as ancient underwater kingdoms, previously unknown or sealed away, start to re-emerge. These lost civilizations bring new threats, new technologies, and rival claims to Atlantis itself.

A major focus of Aquaman 3 is political conflict within the ocean kingdoms. Arthur is no longer only fighting external enemies—he must also deal with internal factions that question his authority, his heritage, and his connection to both worlds. Atlantis becomes a divided empire rather than a unified kingdom.

The villain concept in this installment is often imagined as a powerful force tied to ancient ocean mythology, possibly an older royal bloodline or a forgotten aquatic empire that believes Atlantis should not exist in its current form. This creates a conflict that is less about simple destruction and more about control of the ocean’s future.

The tone of the film is typically envisioned as:

  • Larger-scale underwater warfare
  • Mythological and fantasy-driven storytelling
  • Political tension between kingdoms
  • A mix of surface-world and deep-ocean perspectives

Visually, Aquaman 3 is expected to push underwater world-building even further, with expanded cities, new sea creatures, and more diverse environments beneath the ocean. The contrast between bright surface life and dark deep-sea realms becomes even more pronounced.
