The movie opens in bustling New York City, where Tom and Jerry are still locked in their endless rivalry. After the chaos of their previous adventure, they’ve both been kicked out of their last home and are now struggling to survive on the streets.

Jerry discovers a mysterious golden key hidden inside an old piano at an abandoned theater. Curious, he takes it—only for Tom to chase him, as usual. During the chase, they accidentally unlock a secret underground vault beneath the theater.

Inside, they find an ancient machine built by a forgotten inventor. The device, powered by the golden key, has the ability to bring cartoons into the real world—and worse, turn small cartoon conflicts into massive real-world disasters.

When Tom accidentally activates the machine, classic cartoon chaos spills into the city: giant bouncing objects, looping staircases, and impossible physics begin disrupting reality. Buildings stretch, roads twist, and everyday life becomes unpredictable.

At first, Tom enjoys the chaos, seeing it as the perfect advantage to finally catch Jerry. But things quickly spiral out of control when the machine starts creating duplicates of them—dozens of Toms and Jerrys running wild across the city.

Jerry realizes the machine is unstable and could collapse reality entirely. Reluctantly, he tries to warn Tom. Of course, Tom doesn’t listen—until one of the duplicate Toms steals his spotlight and turns on him.

Now outnumbered and overwhelmed, Tom is forced to team up with Jerry. The two form an uneasy alliance to stop the machine before it destroys everything.

Their journey takes them through warped versions of the city:

  • A subway system that loops infinitely
  • A skyscraper that bends like rubber
  • A park where gravity constantly flips

Along the way, they face their own clones, outsmart exaggerated cartoon traps, and even relive moments from their past chases.

In the final act, they return to the underground vault. The machine has grown unstable, creating a massive vortex pulling everything inside. To stop it, someone must insert the golden key and manually shut it down—from inside the vortex.

Tom initially pushes Jerry aside, determined to be the hero for once. But at the last second, Jerry jumps in with him. Together, they struggle through the chaos and manage to deactivate the machine just in time.

The vortex collapses, and the city returns to normal.

In the aftermath, Tom and Jerry sit quietly on a rooftop, watching the sunrise. For a brief moment, they share a peaceful silence—almost like friends.

Then Jerry steals Tom’s sandwich.

Tom pauses… then smirks.

The chase begins again.
