“Nexus Chimera” is a high-concept sci-fi thriller that blends genetic engineering horror, multiverse theory, and survival action into a tense story about what happens when life itself stops following natural rules. It’s a film built around escalation—starting as a scientific mystery and unfolding into a reality-breaking ecological catastrophe.

The story begins in a secret research facility known as the Nexus Institute, where scientists are studying “cross-origin genetic synthesis”—the ability to combine DNA from completely incompatible species, and even from organisms that evolved in different theoretical branches of reality. The project was originally intended for medical breakthroughs and environmental restoration.

However, something goes wrong.
