Rather than just controlling the Hulk, he would be dealing with a version of himself that is smarter, more manipulative, and possibly even more dangerous in subtle ways. That duality could create real tension without needing constant action.

The tone should be more serious and mature, possibly even slower-paced, building atmosphere and suspense. Action scenes would still exist, but they’d feel more sudden and impactful rather than continuous spectacle.

Overall, a hypothetical Grey Hulk (2026) could reinvent the character by shifting from pure action to psychological storytelling. If done right, it could be one of the most unique entries connected to the Hulk mythos—less about power, and more about control and identity.
