After Venom, Venom: Let There Be Carnage, and Venom: The Last Dance, a fourth installment would likely need to evolve beyond the familiar formula of Eddie Brock and Venom fighting symbiote threats. The biggest challenge would be avoiding repetition while still keeping the fun, chaotic energy that defines the series.

In my view, a strong Venom 4 would deepen the relationship between Eddie Brock and Venom in a more emotional direction. Instead of just being a comedic action duo, the film could explore identity, dependency, and the cost of sharing a body for so long. That would give the story more weight beyond constant battles and symbiote explosions.

The action would still be expected to be over-the-top—large-scale symbiote transformations, destructive city fights, and new alien threats. However, to stand out, the film would need a more structured antagonist rather than just another “bigger symbiote.”

I also think the franchise would benefit from expanding its connection to the wider universe, possibly pushing Eddie closer to more serious consequences of the symbiote’s existence rather than treating it as purely chaotic fun.

Overall, a hypothetical Venom 4 could either be the most emotionally complete entry in the series or simply another loud, chaotic ride. Its success would depend on whether it finally balances character depth with its signature wild energy.
