TEHRAN BURNS! U.S. Air Force C-17 Crews Placed on Full Combat Alert

Explosions and fires reportedly lit up parts of Tehran as the conflict involving Iran, the United States, and regional allies continued to intensify. Large fires were reported near fuel depots and industrial areas around the Iranian capital after waves of airstrikes and secondary explosions, sending thick smoke over parts of the city and prompting health warnings from Iranian authorities about toxic air pollution.

According to regional reports, the strikes were part of a broader military campaign targeting Iranian military infrastructure, missile facilities, and logistical hubs. The escalating conflict has already seen hundreds of aircraft involved in coordinated strike operations across the region, with U.S. and allied forces hitting numerous targets during the opening phases of the campaign.

Amid the rapidly changing battlefield situation, crews operating the Boeing C‑17 Globemaster III have reportedly been placed on heightened combat alert. The C-17 is one of the U.S. Air Force’s primary strategic airlift aircraft, capable of transporting troops, heavy armored vehicles, humanitarian supplies, and large quantities of munitions across intercontinental distances.
