Iran Vs UAE: After A Week of Iranian Hellfire: Abu Dhabi Strikes Back, UAE Raid Hits Tehran Targets?

The rapidly escalating confrontation between Iran and the United Arab Emirates has taken a dramatic new turn after days of missile and drone attacks across the Gulf. Following nearly a week of Iranian strikes on Emirati territory, reports now suggest that Abu Dhabi may have launched a retaliatory raid targeting sites inside Iran, raising fears that the conflict could widen into a direct regional war.
A Week of Iranian Missile and Drone Attacks
The crisis began when Iran launched a large-scale campaign of missiles and drones across Gulf states after joint military actions by the United States and Israel against Iranian targets. Since late February, the UAE says hundreds of ballistic missiles and over 900 drones have been launched toward the country.
Emirati air defenses intercepted most of the incoming threats, but debris and impacts still caused casualties and damage in cities such as Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Officials reported several deaths and more than a hundred injuries since the attacks began.
Iran’s strikes have also shaken the region’s economic hubs, disrupting airports, shipping routes, and infrastructure across the Gulf. Analysts warn the attacks threaten critical energy routes and global trade networks.
