Iran Strikes Escalate War as Oil Facilities and Energy Routes Come Under Fire

The conflict between Iran and Israel has intensified dramatically, with attacks now threatening major oil infrastructure across the Middle East and raising fears of a global energy crisis.
Oil Facilities and Energy Routes Targeted
Recent reports indicate that Iran has expanded its retaliation beyond Israel, launching missiles and drone strikes against strategic energy infrastructure and shipping routes in the Gulf region. These attacks have disrupted oil transport and sparked fires at several facilities.
One of the most significant incidents involved drone strikes targeting a major oil refinery in Ras Tanura, Saudi Arabia, one of the largest energy facilities in the region. Air defenses intercepted the drones, but debris triggered a fire and forced the refinery to temporarily halt operations.
Analysts say the strikes appear aimed at disrupting global oil supply chains, as the Persian Gulf handles a massive share of the world’s oil shipments.
