US–Israel Strike Iran: IRGC Claims Advanced Missiles in New Retaliatory Wave; Sirens Echo Nationwide

Tehran / Tel Aviv — Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) says it has launched a fresh barrage of “advanced precision missiles” at Israeli targets, triggering air-raid sirens across large parts of Israel and sending millions of civilians rushing into shelters.
In a televised address from what officials described as a fortified command center, an IRGC spokesperson claimed upgraded medium-range missiles — allegedly fitted with maneuverable re-entry vehicles and decoys — were deployed to challenge Israeli and U.S. air-defense systems. Iranian state media broadcast footage of nighttime launches and computer-generated strike trajectories aimed at Israel’s coastal region and strategic military sites.
Israeli authorities confirmed incoming missile alerts but said air-defense batteries were actively intercepting threats. Damage assessments and casualty reports remain unclear as tensions between Tehran and Tel Aviv continue to escalate.
