Casey Mills has been cast as a recurring guest star in Season 2 of The Hunting Wives, Deadline hears.

We understand he’ll appear as ‘Nico’ in at least five episodes of the Netflix series. Details on his character were not immediately available.

Reps for Netflix and Lionsgate declined to comment.

The Hunting Wives became a breakout hit for Netflix last year after the streamer scooped the Lionsgate TV-produced series from Starz.  It started off as a Netflix U.S.-only acquisition in a one-year domestic licensing deal, and the series was renewed a few months after the first season premiered.

Created by Rebecca CutterThe Hunting Wives’ first season was based on the bestselling novel by May Cobb. Season 2 will be an original concept-based continuation of the story, using the Season 1 finale as a jumping-off point. At the start of Season 2, Sophie (Snow) and Margo (Åkerman) are on the outs. But soon enough, old secrets and new foes force them back together. As they play their dangerous games the question arises. Are they the hunters or the hunted?

Mills can currently be seen in F*cktoys, which made its world premiere at SXSW, where it won a Special Jury Award. He recently wrapped production on J. Casey Modderno’s directorial debut Here for the Weekend, produced by Will Ferrell and Jessica Elbaum’s Gloria Sanchez Productions. He can also be seen in the upcoming slasher horror He’s Watching You from first-time director Jordon Fosse. Past television credits include recurring roles on As We See It and Nashville, as well as guest spots on Swarn, Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, and Lucifer.

He is represented by Buchwald, talent manager Ran Aubrey Frazier, and STW Talent.
