Savannah Guthrie posted a new video about the disappearance of her mother Nancy, offering her family’s reward of up to $1 million for information leading to her recovery.

But marking the 24th day since Nancy Guthrie was abducted from her home near Tucson, her daughter also acknowledged the reality of the situation and that her mother may be gone.

Guthrie said, “We still believe in a miracle. We still believe that she can come home, hope against hope, as my sister says, ‘We are blowing on the embers of hope.’ We also know that she may be lost. She may already be gone. She may have already gone home to the Lord that she loves and is dancing in heaven with her mom and her dad and with her beloved brother Pierce and with our daddy. If this is what is to be, then we will accept it, but we need to know where she is. We need her to come home.”

The reward is being offered consistent with FBI criteria for payment of its reward in the case. Federal authorities are offering up to $100,000 for information leading to the location of Nancy Guthrie and/or the arrest and conviction of anyone involved in her disappearance. Guthrie noted the FBI’s tip line, with callers able to remain anonymous.

The Today co-host also announced a $500,000 donation to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children “for their work and helping families who are coping with loss and actively looking for those who are lost.”

“We are hoping that the attention that has been given to our mom and our family will extend to all the families like ours who are in need and need prayers and need support.”

Guthrie said, “If you hear this message, if you’ve been waiting and you haven’t been sure, let this be your sign to please come forward, tell what you know, and help us bring our beloved mom home so that we can either celebrate the glorious, miraculous homecoming or celebrate the beautiful, brave and courageous and noble life that she has lived. Please be the light in the dark.”

Guthrie has been absent from Today since her mother’s disappearance. She was last seen on the evening of Jan. 31, when she was dropped off at her residence in the Catalina Foothills. The FBI released images and video of a suspect or person of interest, a masked armed person, who was captured by Guthrie’s front-door camera.

Federal authorities and the Pima County Sheriff’s Department have continued to investigate tips for potential leads, but no major breakthrough has been announced. Several media outlets, including TMZ and local Tucson stations, have reported receiving suspected ransom notes.

More to come.
